Little Jacers! What's not to love! : )

My boys, minus Jace, taking it all in.

The double stroller was such a life saver! Thanks Mom!

My kids absolutely love water, thank goodness!

Sorry blog world I will do better, hopefully! For now I am going to try to take on the impossible and wake my sleeping husband, that fell alseep on the couch while I was watching Grey's Anatomy. Please stay tuned for pictures and updates. I'm excited to be back! : ) I'll leave you with some just a couple of pics of the crazy kiddos. Here's a cute one of Jace, because the last one he's pulling a weird face, but it was the only one that Conner held still for so until the next update.......

Girl's Weekend

The weekend before Thanksgiving by Mom and Jess gave me an early birthday present! My Mom, Me, and my two younger sisters flew down to Utah for the weekend! We visited with my other younger sister, Steph, and did some major shopping! My wonderful husband stayed home with the boys, and took great care of them while I was away! We flew out on Friday and came back the following Monday. That was the longest I had been away from either one of my boys, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be! We had tons of fun, and actually I was wanted to stay a couple more days, but I did miss all my boys so much, including my absolutely great husband! We did manage to get to all the places that we wanted to go, and it was so much fun to hang out with my Mom and sisters. A huge thanks goes out to my lovely mother for the trip, and the fun! My husband also deserves a huge thanks for handling the teething child, and the terrible twos child all weekend! He did great, but I knew that he would. He's such an awesome Dad!

The first night there of course we had to hit up Cafe Rio! I was super excited! I love that pork salad, oh my gosh!

Only on an all girl's night we go to Cafe Rio for dinner, and then we head to Chili's for dessert! Steph and I devoured the Moulton Lava Cake, yummy!

The next day my Mom took us all out to the Park City Outlet Mall. It was tons and fun, and we did find some great deals.
Here's the back of the car with all of our loot!

After we were done at the Outlet Mall we headed back to Salt Lake City to go to Twilight at the Gateway! I haven't read the books yet, so I loved to movie! My sister's have read it, so they kind of explained some parts to me, but now I really want to read the books. I guess I just haven't yet because I'm scaried that everything will get put off until I'm done reading them, and during this time of year that would not be good!

Kendra, Me, Taylor, and Steph outside the theatre after the movie. I promise that Kendra can be a happy girl, but during this picture she was super upset because hercell phone broke, and at 16 that is a very important device! : )

Taylor was so excited to go to Build a Bear. She did so great while all of us went to our cute craft stores, so my Mom rewarded her with a high school musical build a bear! She was so excited!

On Sunday we went to Temple Square. It was so pretty, and quiet! They had all the lights up for Christmas, and the Nativities were gorgeous! I hadn't been to Temple Square forever, so it was so fun to go and see how much it's changed! I was just super sad that my honey wasn't there with me to partake in the loveliness! ; )

"The Girls" in front of one of the Nativities.

They had a statue of Mary and Joseph on the reflection pool. It was so cool. It looked like they were just floating there!

Us girls in front of the reflection pool.

The Mary and Joseph statue on the pool. So Pretty! : )
Kritt, my sister's husband, Steph, my sister, and Me! :) We stopped into the visitor's center really quick before we left.
Mom, Tay, and Keng, getting blinded by the light. : )

To top off our trip my Mom introduced me to the Little America brunch buffet! I was so sad that Jess wasn't there for that, because I think that he would have loved it more then me, and I loved it! I ate enough for like a whole week! I especially loved the chocolate fountain! Yummy! : )
We had so much fun, and we made some way fun memories! I really think that we need to make this an annual trip! Thanks so much Mom for everything! This was such an awesome birthday present. Oh, we also owe another huge thank you to my little brother Scott, who is going to BYU. It worked out so perfect because he ended up coming home from Provo for thanksgiving the day after we left Utah, so we got to send everything with him that wouldn't fit in our suitcases, which was a ton of stuff! We hit up Rod Works, and Tai Phan (sp?), so we had his whole back seat and some of his trunk full of yummy goodies for our houses! : ) Thanks little Bro! : )
I had tons of fun, but it was so nice to come back to my little family of boys. It was so cute to see how excited Conner was to see me! He's getting so big, and I think that Jace doubled in size while I was gone, but my husband did so great, and he's the best husband ever!

Totally Random.....

Okay, so this post is totally random. I got so behind on blogging the happenings in our lives, that this is just going to be a stew of craziness. Just bare with me, because for some reason I needed to post all of these pictures just for the pure feeling of being "caught up"! There are a bunch of cute pictures, so please enjoy. I present the last month, or two of our lives! : )
When Grandma and Grandpa Moberg returned safe and sound from their trip to Grand Cayman, they brought presents! The presents were two little guys that we hadn't seen for a whole year, and their momma! It was so fun to see them and see Emmet and Conner fight over every single car! There will be more good times had by these little guys come Christmas! ; )

Jace just keeps growing and growing! He's almost six months now, and he loves is older brother so much! Conner could be just sitting next to Jace doing nothing, and Jace will just start cracking up. He's just so darn cute! He can sit up on his own for about 5 minutes and then he face plants to the ground, ususally trying to reach whatever toy he pushed out of his reach. We started him on rice cereal and baby food, and I'll just say that this kid loves to eat! Conner was the exact same way! He's in the middle of getting his two bottom teeth! Yikes! Those little buggers, they just won't break through. They're just hanging out right at the top, but they have yet to bust their way through!

Okay so my older child has a huge obsession with CARS! He watches CARS the movie seriously like almost everyday, and he always has to have his cars in his hands! Before we go anywhere he runs around looking for his cars, because he can't go anywhere without them! He even sleeps with them at night! This picture shows what you'll see in his hands all day!

When we were staying with Taylor and Kendra while my parents where in Grand Cayman Conner would get so exhausted from all the fun that we were having. He never falls asleep anywhere other then a bed, so this was so surprising to see as I came around the corner.

Happy very very very late Halloween! We spent Halloween in Moses Lake. It was quiet, but lots of fun. The night before we carved pumpkins. Taylor was very excited!

My little pumpkin! : ) Thanks Grandma Moberg for the fun shirt! : )

Our finished products! Conner's pumpkin was the "Hi Daddy" one. Jess was still in Tri-Cities, so we dedicated our pumpkin to him!

Grandma Moberg also got him this way cute outfit! This was Jace on his First Halloween! I especially love the little mummy hat! What a cutie! ; )

When Jess got to Moses we took Aunt Tay and Conner Trick or Treating. Conner wasn't really fully understanding what we were doing, but it was still fun.

Conner, or should I say Superman, raided our Trick or Treating loot before we headed out to Trick or Treat around town.

I had this little outfit since Conner was a baby! I love it! Jace looks so cute in it, and it' so fitting because he is such a snuggly teddy bear! : )

Of course we first stopped down the road at Grammy and Grandpa Walters' house. They give our the good stuff! : )
I would say that we had a very successful Halloween, but I am excited for next year when my parents will be there and we'll get to have my Mom's famous home made doughnuts! : )

I love these kids!

I love this picture! Conner just discovered his pockets! : )

Not so sure about the rice cereal!

Conner seriously has no fears, and I am getting nervous because the more that Jace's personality comes out the more that I think he's going to be even crazier then Conner! Conner is such a little stinker some time! He definently does not know his limits, and for that reason he is constintly getting hurt! I swear that every week at nursery they are probably wondering what goes on in our house, because every Sunday he has a new bruise or cut! This particular cut/bruise happened at Grammy and Grandpa Walters' house. He fell off the couch and hit his eye on the corner of the coffee table. He only cried for like 2 minutes, but it started bleeding right away. I'm just not looking forward to the day that we make the trip to the hospital for stitches! I thought that that day had finally come last week, but it's going to take a lot of blood for us to even consider taking him in. After Thanksgiving he fell while playing catch with Jess and hit his head on the trim. He hit just right that he hit like the only sharp part on it. It didn't bleed to much, but it was pretty deep. We tried to find super glue to glue it shut, because he wouldn't keep a band aid on, but we couldn't find any. It stopped bleeding, but I just hope that he doesn't get a scar! Man, I really need a sweet little girl, that hates getting dirty, and loves princesses! : )

Coming Soon........

Okay, so hopefully soon! I will be back with a great post about the happenings in the last month of our lives. We have plenty of pictures, and good stories. We had a great girl's weekend shopping in Utah last weekend, and Thanksgiving was so yummy! If anyone still looks at my blog, I promise that there will updates soon! : )

Where does the time go?...........

Okay, so I can't believe that it seriously has been so long since my last post. Anyways, we have survived Halloween and I do have some pictures that I need to put up, but for now this post is going to be picture less. Right now Grandma and Grandpa Moberg are over in the Grand Caymans visiting Ryan and April and boys. First they started off with a quick stop in Florida where Uncle Scott met up with them. In Florida Grandpa Moberg and Scott were able to accomplish an Ironman! Hooray for them! Seriously I don't know how they do it, but they did awesome. Right now I am in Moses Lake. I have been here with the boys for a little over a week now. I came to stay with Kendra and Tay while the parents are gone. It's been super fun to hang out with the younger sisters, and Conner has just been trying to follow Tay everywhere! Taylor and Kendra are great girls, so it has just been a breeze hanging out and taking care of the house with them. My mom has a house keeper, so now I am totally sold on the whole house keeper idea. It's super nice to not have to worry about all the nitty gritty cleaning like the bathrooms and floors and all. I think that it's going to be a lot harder to go back to my old world of just me and the boys at home by ourselves during the day, and no house keeper! : ) I am missing my handsome sweet hubby though! He's so great! He's just been hanging out with the dog while we've been gone. He did manage to come up and surprise me yesterday! He's so good to me! I think that he's being extra sweet though all next week he's going fishing and hunting, well basically all next week. Grandma and Grandpa Moberg and schduled to be back this Saturday, but unfortunately they are stuck in a tropical storm right now that is suppose to turn into a hurricane by Friday. Oh, and it's also heading pretty much for Grand Cayman right now too! Their poor vacation turned into a huge down pour! We'll keep our fingers crossed that they can make it out before the storm hits, but that chance isn't looking good right now!

Halloween was fun. I thought that Conner would be so much more into Trick or Treating, but maybe next year! He was Superman, because that kid is crazy! Jace was a teddy bear, and boy was he ever the cutest teddy bear, sorry Grandma Walters for the huge blow out in the teddy bear costume, but thanks so much for getting it all cleaned up! : ) Aunt Tay went as the cutest Hannah Montana look a like ever! We had fun up until Conner started to have huge temper tantrums little stinker! We did manage to survive, and they all made out with some good loot! : ) Pictures to follow soon, when I get back into my routine, and regular computer!

So far things have been fun, and now I have to steal away for the weekend to return to regular life for a couple of days, and help out with our wards super saturday! It will be tons of fun, and there is some pretty fun classes. I am teaching an embroidery craft, so hopefully all goes well, but I'm sure I'll be returning to take care of the girls here in moses lake considering how the weather is looking for the vacationers!

The Wedding, Finally : )

So I know that this is super late, but better late then ever! We are still all alive, and we did manage to make it to Phenoix and back! It was so much fun, and it definently wasn't long enough! This is a super long post, so sorry, but enjoy! ; )

Here's Jace on the way to his first plane ride!

Conner on the way to his second plane ride! We flew out of Spokane super early in the morning.
Jace on the plane before take off! He did great! We were a little nervous because we had a straight flight to Phenoix, and they split Jess and I up! Jess took Conner and sat a couple of rows behind Jace and I. Jace just slept the entire time! He was such a champ! Conner just watched DVD's the whole way so he did great, too!

This was the look on Conner's face by the time that we finally made it to Phenoix, and was in the rental car! He was so ready for nap!
Here's Preslee, Ethan, and Conner in our hotel room! Conner has so much fun with these two, and he just adores Preslee! This past weekend we were up at Jess' parents house, and he spotted a picture of Pres and he couldn't help but have this huge grin on his face. So darn cute! He's just like his Dad, he has a little sweet spot for the ladies, that could be good or bad! : )
Jace was such a trooper this whole trip. We were on the go a lot, and he totally just went with the flow! He would just nap where ever and when ever, and he was still just the happiest baby ever!

Jess' brother and his wife, Chad and Stef, served their mission in Arizona, and they introduced us to this place called Bahama Buck's! Oh my word, I am still craving it! I was so good! It was a shaved ice place, and man did they have some way good shaved ice! We got a Bahama Rama Mama, and it was shaved ice with a scoop of ice cream on the bottom of the cup! So dreamy! Here's Jess with his way yummy Bahama Rama Mama!
Of course being in way hot Phenoix we had to dip into the pool at night to cool off a bit! Conner did pretty well with the whole pool thing, but man did we have a scare! This kid is so fearless, and nothing stops him. He definently does not know his limits sometimes and it just scares me to death. Well, one night that we were all out at the pool Jess and Conner were up at a table eatting and Conner wandered off. Well I was talking with Jan and Stef, and all of a sudden I see Tom, Jess' Dad, get up and start walking really fast somewhere. I look around to maybe see was he was doing, and I see Conner over at the hot tub. This hot tub was a pretty big hot tub, but it was the regular depth of 3 feet. Well Conner and the hot tub did not mix well because he's not quite 3 feet! Anyways, the second I see Conner at the hot tub I jump up and follow Tom over there, and about the time that we were half way there Conner decided to jump in. Tom runs over and jumps in fully clothed and grabs Conner and throws him up to me! Conner was fine, but I was so shocked and felt so bad that Tom jumped in with his regular clothes on! So scary though. Jess says that he thought Conner just went and followed his cousins somewhere, but still we were at the pool! Jess is such a goof sometimes! Anyways, after that we made sure that Conner wore a life jacket when ever around the pool!

Jace saying hello! : )
Conner with Pres and Ethan sitting outside of the hotel.
Of course being in this family you can't pass up going to the Bass Pro Shop! It was pretty cool though, and Conner loved seeing all the fish!

Stef and Chad found out about this way fun place to take the kids, and boy was it a hit! It was an indoor huge play place. The pictures really don't do it justice! It was huge! Jess had to go up with Conner, but I think that Jess was super excited! They had to wear socks, and non of us had any so they had to get these lovely lookers!
Conner with Dad coming out of one of the slides! They said that there was a huge drop in the slide, and that it was pretty awesome!
Conner and Dad climbing up the rope so that Conner could go down the zip line!
It's kind of hard to make out, but there's Conner going down the zip line. He's wearing a green shirt.

Conner did really good on this trip, too! There were a lot of missed naps or naps on the go, and he still managed really good! I was quite surprised because this kid is a napper! He averages a 3 to 4 hour nap everyday, and still goes to bed at 8! I have no idea how this happens!
Jess was showing off his dance dance revolution moves, and Conner kept trying to mess him up.

Conner wanted to shoot hoops so bad! We finally broke down and let him try it out! Aunt Stef was so sweet to help him out some!
Trying to make, but he couldn't quite reach. Someday!

Another one of our swimming trips, notice the life jacket. Thanks Stef! : ) He did spend more time trying to climb these rocks then swim, little stinker.

Jess' sister Kelli had her way cute little guy a couple of weeks after I had Jace! His name is Tyler. He's such a cutie and such a good baby, too! Hopefully they'll grow up and be great buddys!
Jace checking things out.
Tyler just going with the flow.

Poor Jace tuckered out after a long day!
Here's Conner posing at our family, wedding pictures! All the nephews got to wear tuxedos, but they didn't have a small enough size for Conner. We had him wear the next best thing, tuxedo t-shirt. We had him and Jace in one. It was so funny! Anyways, the day of the wedding we got and ready to have family wedding pictures done at the Mesa Temple at 9:00 in morning! Even at 9:00 is was so hot! Man that heat was something else! I don't know how people do it! Here's Conner posing, sort of, outside the temple while we were waiting for our turn for pictures!
Here's all the siblings and their spouse's, except Casey and Janina.
Here's the happy couple with all of the Walter's siblings.
This girl is so adorable!

The babies where a hit! Little Madi was so cute with her little brother and Jace! She would come running over and just be calling him "Sweetie", and "Sweet Baby". She is so cute! : )

Here Jan and Tom were trying to get a pic of them with all the grandchildern, and well atleast we can say that we tried!
The babies tuckered out, probably from all the heat, poor little guys!
Madi is so funny! Her personality just cracks me up! Don't you just love the little girl's dresses!
The three older boy cousins. From left to right it goes, Carson, Tabius, and Ethan. Tabius, I think that's how you spell his name, but he's Janina's son. Those boys just all hit it right off with each other!

The sealing was so good, and a huge thanks to the baby sitters! We left all the older kids at the hotel, but Kelli and I left our babies with who ever we knew in the waiting room which thank goodness it ended up being Jess' cousin's! They said that the babies did great while we were in the sealing, and it was so nice to just be able to relax and not worry how they were doing! Later that night was the reception, and it was at a way gorgeous place! Here's Conner examining the foot of the statute.

Jace pretty much slept through like half of it.
Conner could follow Pres around all day! He loves her!
Giving loves!
Our cute little family! We tried to get a good pic of all of us, but man that heat!

Conner enjoying the night.

My handsome hubby in a tux, I just love it!
Here's our effort of getting a picture with all the family that was there. A few of Jess' cousins came with their families. It was fun to see everybody.
The following day we had a 10:30 am flight to catch, and lets just say we didn't quite make it! We missed it by 5 minutes! The next flight that we could get on was at 8 that night, so we had long day ahead of us. Casey came to the rescue though, and came and picked us up from the airport and took us to the brunch that they had planned. Conner was so tired from the weekend and getting up early that morning that he literally fell asleep in his high chair! Poor little guy!

The boys did just as good on the flight back home as they did on the flight there. Jess and I got to sit next to each other, and we made it home at like 2 in the morning! It did take us a week to get back into the swing of things back home, but it was so worth the trip! The wedding was great, and we are so excited to have a new sister in law, and a new niece and nephew!

So Handsome...

Where does the time go?! Conner is just so darn adorable, and is just getting so old! He's such a little toddler now, and it just breaks my heart! He's so darn handsome! I took this before church today, because he was just looking so cute! I asked him to say cheese, and this was his adorable smile that he threw out! I love this kid! I don't know what it is though, we are continuing to have a problem with nursery! He's going through some seperation issues, that he needs to grow out of ASAP! I don't know what it was, but the first couple of times that we took him to nursery he did great. He could of cared less if we were there or not, but that's not the case now little stinker! It's nice to see though that we're not the only parents going through this issue right now because there's a couple of parents stuck in there like we are. It just stinks because either Jess or I miss the whole rest of church! I really feel like it's bad right now because nursery is right during nap time, but who knows with these little kiddos! I guess we'll just keep our fingers crossed that eventually things will get better, right? : ) In the mean time we off to Casey, Jess' brother's, wedding, in Phenoix. : ) We'll see how it goes on the plane with the two little kiddos. I'll give a full report when we get back! :)

So darn handsome!

Horses.......

I forgot to post these from a couple of weeks ago. Conner loves loves horses, and it's so funny because Grammy and Grandpa Walters have a couple, but we haven't really taken Conner out to go and see them. It's so funny to see his reaction every time that they actually come over and he gets to pet them. He just loves it! I love this little guy! He's such a goof ball. Everyday he does something just hilarious and Jess and I just look at each other and laugh. Today he woke up and ran right over to the couch and jumped up on it, and pointed at the TV and said "Cartoons", it sounded perfect! He's now starting to say new words every day, and it just amazes me how well he communicates now. Every once and awhile he'll whine, and we have to remind him to use words, but he's figuring it out. I just can't help but just want to give him loves all day!

Jess, Conner, and Cousin Preslee checking out the horses.

This little monkey. Jess and I walked away for only like 2 seconds, and he had climbed to the top of the fence. At first we weren't really concerned about it, because this kid climbs everything, but then we remembered that there was an newly installed electric fence line right next to the fence. Once the kid started to put his head throught the fence we had to pull the plug on climbing it.

Love this little guy!

Jace's Blessing Day

As promised here are the pictures from Jace's big day. He is so stinkin cute!
Here he is just lounging on my bed the morning of his blessing. I was just finishing up getting ready, and I would pop out of the bathroom and say boo and he would just giggle! He's just so sweet!

Here's cousin Ethan shootin hoops.

Sweet Preslee! :)

Me and my sweet little baby boy! I just love this baby!

Jace had a sweater that went with the outfit, but it was way too hot to wear it outside, so we just settled with the onesie! : )
Posing with both sets of Grandparents! We were so glad that they could all make it!

Our cute little family! I'm not sure what conner is doing with his foot. What a goof!

Sweet Aunt Steph! Thanks again guys for flying down for the blessing! It was lots of fun seeing you, and we so wish that we could visit with you guys more often. We love and miss you tons already!

Jace getting some snuggle time in with Grammy Walters.

Stef and Chad. : )

Hanging out with Aunt Steph. Jace was giving out his way cute smiles.

All in all it was a very fun and successful day. It was so fun to all just hang out all together, and eat yummy food!

Jace's Blessing Day

What a great day! We blessed our sweet little Jace today! It was great! My parents were there, along with Kendra and Tay of course. Then Steph and Kritt flew up for it, too! They hadn't met Jace yet, so it was so fun to have them here. Then Jess' parents came, and also Chad and Stef and the kids from Spokane. We are so thankful for our families and their support! We were glad that they were able to make it, and be there for Jace's blessing. Jess did an amazing job, and it couldn't have been any more perfect! After the blessing we were all able to hang out at our house and have a yummy dinner provided by all the amazing women that were there! It was super good, thanks again amazing mothers and sisters! We did snap some photos that I still need to upload, but for now I am calling it a night! I leave with a photo of my dear sweet little Jace, who looks so much like Conner in this picture, crazy! : )

Labor Day Weekend

Well to start out our weekend Chad, Stef and the kids met us over in Moses Lake on Friday. We had been planning on having a garage sale on Saturday, so Friday night we got all ready for it! It turned out way better then we thought. It's amazing on what junk people will buy, but I guess what's another person's junk might be someone else's treasure, right!? : ) Well, my camera was dead so no pictures to document, but thanks Chad and Stef for the fun time. We all decided that we're going to have to make this an annual thing, so we'll see if we can accumulate more junk by then! So then after the garage sale we came home to tend to our dogs, and for church the next morning. Sunday we all just hung out and watched movies. Then on Monday we made our way over to Prosser to hang out with our best friends, Ryan and Amanda. It turns out that Labor Day is a big deal in Prosser. They had a parade and a cute little carnival all set up. We were pretty impressed. We had tons of fun and Conner got to experience a lot of firsts for him. It was his first parade and he also had his first ride on carnival rides. After the parade and rides we all put the kiddos down for naps and just hung out. We ended up staying over at Ryan and Amanda's until like 9 oclock at night. We always have way to much fun with those guys. We are so lucky that they ended up living so close to us! They have 2 way cute kids, and Conner just adores Ash. To think that when we first met Ash was like 6 months old, and Jess and I had no kids. Man, times change quick! : ) Thanks guys for the fun and memorable times, and the yummy dinner! : )

Cute Ash just waiting for the parade.

The men with the kiddos.

Amanda and I with our little fellows! They are like two of the best babies in the world. They are both so laid back, and just easy going babies! They are going to be the best of friends! : )

Conner loved the parade. There were lots of cars, so he was in heaven.

Rider just hangin out!

Oh, and we can't forget about the candy. Conner had so much candy during the parade! Little stinker he just kept shoveling it in! We couldn't believe how crazy he was after all that sugar. You know he's had too much when he gets that bad, it was hilarious.

My Little Jace.

Crazy Ash.

The Dad's putting our little kiddos on the first ride! We weren't sure how they were going to take it. But they loved it! Conner threw a fit when he had to get off!

They were pointing at the lights in the middle of the ride. Ash is so cute with Conner. She'll have a whole conversation with him and his babbling it's so funny to just here him ramble off to her.
Then Amanda and I decided to treat ourselves to a little "No Kiddo" time, and ride the ferris wheel. We both decided that it had been forever since we had been on a ride. It was lots of fun.

This was later that night when we got home. Jess had to run a movie back, and this is what Conner did the whole time. He was watching for his Daddy! He's such a Daddy's boy.
I just love little guy, I just can't say it enough.

Thanks Ryan and Amanda again for such a fun Labor Day!

In The Month of August we've.......

......had lots of fun! This summer has just gone by so fast! I can't believe that kids are already back in school, and it's even starting to feel a little bit cooler outside! We'll we've done a lot of fun things this past month. Jace turn 2 months old! He got his first shots, poor little guy! He was not happy about that, but I guess who really would be. He came in at 12 lbs., and was 25" tall. I can't believe how fast he's growing! He is doing so many fun things now, he giggles and smiles all the time. I just want to just give him loves all day long. He just looks at me all the time with such a happy look in his eye, and I just can't help but just want to squeeze him! I love love my boys. Here's poor Jace with his band aids on his legs. We took Conner to the park that night and it was like a ward party. Tons of people from the ward was there. It's nice to all live in the same kind of close region. We are always running into someone it seems from the ward. Conner had fun playing with the kids!

Conner could climb up and down slides all day if we let him. I love his hair in this picture!

Then what would a summer be if we didn't make it out to the Grant County Fair. I really wanted to take Conner this year because I knew that he would just love the animals. The weather was just not in our favor though, darn. It was like 105 degrees all weekend. I couldn't believe how hot it was! We did end up going out to the rodeo Friday night with everyone. I was lots of fun. My parents, Scott, and Tay came. Then we met Jess' parents, Chad and Stef and the kids out there too. It was still way hot though even though it was like 7:00 PM. We toughed it out though. Jace and I did have to make a trip one time to the truck to go and sit in the air conditioning, but other then then he did great! Conner was climbing all over the place. He did manage to fall a couple of times, and one time it was right into Aunt Tay's ketchup from your hot dog! He got it all over his shirt and arm. Thanks to his awesome cousin ethan who came to the rescue and let Conner wear his under shirt!

What a little trooper!

Conner and Aunt Tay being goofy!

Jace hangin out with Grandma Moberg

Crazy Conner making his mom nervous by climbing all over the fence that ran along the bleachers.

We miss you Uncle Scott! He's at BYU!

Grammy Walters, and Ethan watching the rodeo.

We slipped away from the rodeo a little early so that we could run over and see the animals before they closed. I am so glad that we did because Conner just loved them! It was so funny to his reaction! He's never seen a live pig, or really any animal for that matter other then our dogs. He was so cute!

Jess had to show Conner his old stomping ground! The pig barn at the fair, where Jess made history for himself and won Grand Champion showing a pig! : )

While we were in Moses Lake at Jess' parents house with that way hot weather we had to get the slide out for the kids! It was almost too hot, but it was fun! Conner was a little timid about it, which was so funny because just like a week or so before he was all about the slip and slide at my parents house! Little stinker.

Every summer I look so forward to all the fresh fruit! YUMMY! We ate so many strawberries! I love love those things. Conner would eat a whole thing of strawberries if I let him! A kid after my own heart! : )

Our ward has these Mommy and Me play date things every week. They are usually on Thursdays or Fridays. Anyways, this past Thursday we all met together at a near by park here, and it was lots of fun! All the big kids are in school now, so it was just the little kiddos! Conner had a hay day, and for some reason I found out he likes to chase the sea gulls around that where all over this park! He's such a goof!

Looking for birds.

Yes, I found a bunch of that stuff in his diaper when we got home!

This is what Jace did the whole time! He's such a great little baby! : )

He loved the swing. He had such a tantrum when I decided that we were done swinging. I think that we're hitting the terrible twos a little early! : )

After the park we went home and Conner took a long nap! I love wearing them down at the park they just seem to nap so nicely after that. Anyways, the day before he started to act like he was getting sick. Sure enough he has his first cold of the season! It's starting already! Darn! This is what I found when I came out of my room when I went to go grab something! This kid is so sweet!

After a little rest we went outside to partake in some good old sidewalk chalk. I hadn't introduced Conner to sidewalk chalk yet, and he just loved it! He's quite the chalk hog though. He wasn't all into sharing, we're working on that!

Love that baby!

Busy, busy, busy......

Okay, so I have been wanting to post for ever, but it keeps getting pushed aside. I have been doing lots of fun things with all this fun stuff all over my kitchen table.....

I've been busy giving this little guy lots of loves...
and this little guy.......
and this handsome fellow!

I love being their mom! I'll post more soon, hopefully! : )

It Got Even Better.....

Oh my dear sweet baby boy! He's coming up on 2 months old now, and he just keeps on being great for me! This week we moved him into his own room, and he's loving it sleeping in a regular crib! I lay him down at 10:00 oclock, and just the other day he surprised me by sleeping until 8:00 with not a peep! I couldn't believe it! Now he's been waking up at 7:30, 8ish every morning! I love it! He's so darn sweet and so stinkin happy all the time! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I got so lucky having such great babies! I'm just preparing myself now though, because I know for sure that if and when we have a little girl some day she's probably going to be our little devil child. : )

Love that little sweet baby face! : )

8.10.2008

Coolest Thing Since Sliced Bread : )

My lovely parents got us this way cute, nice double stroller, and we finally got to use it a week or so ago! It was a pretty nice cool evening and so we all set out for a little walk. I just love the look on Conner's face, because this is how he was the whole time! He loves this thing! He thought that it was so cool that he got to sit next to Jace the whole time. He was just a chatting to him the whole time! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! ; )

My Sweet 19 month old......

I just love this kid! He cracks us up everyday! I feel kind of bad lately. I feel like I'm always snapping pictures of Jace, and always talking about the new fun things that he's starting to do, and I feel like I've left Conner out lately. He's such a good little guy! He just adjusted so well with having another little guy to have to share mom's and dad's attention with. There are times that he has a melt down because we are working on his whole patience thing, but all in all he's just such a great kid! The other day we were out back and I was counting to three and saying "Go" and then he would run across the yard and then run back! It was hilarious because he would scream the whole way and wave his arms around all crazy. Anyways, now he counts to three! He's such a goof. When I say one he goes two, tree, GO! He's such a great helper now, too! I'll ask him to go get me a diaper for Jace, and sure enough he comes walking around the corner with a diaper, or if I need Jace's blanket, or if Jace is fussing a little bit he runs over and starts talking to him. I just look so forward to seeing these guys grow up together. I swear they're already the best of friends. He's just so darn cute! He'll always be my little buddy!

Conner loves loves his little boy toys like his cars and trucks, and we got him this little 4-wheeler because he's so obsessed with Grandpa's 4-wheelers and he just loves them. It's so cute because he'll just drive them around all day with an occasional break to shoot some hoops on the basketball hoop. Lately though he's now starting to almost sit still long enough read a whole book! He loves these books. He'll run and get them from his room and spend awhile looking through them and point things out like the animals, and shapes! He's a little smarty! It's crazy to just watch him and realize how much he does know and understand!

Super Sad : (

Last weekend we made our way over to Spokane. We were able to go and spend some time with Chad, Stef, and the kids, and some friends, and Conner loved loved it! Well, we all ended up going out to eat at our all time favorite Old Spaghetti Factory, and that's where the sadness starts for me! I put Jace's baby quilt that I made for him across his car seat before we made our way into the restaurant, and by the time that we were all done eating I realized that it was missing! I paniced big time, and asked Jess if he could run outside and see if he could find it! Well, of course no luck! We searched and searched everywhere, and I just had to accept that it was gone forever! I was totally devastated! I just had to tell myself that someone just needed it more then us, but I am still just so sad! I do have some extra fabric left over, and I was able to find some more on the internet, but that quilt just had so much sentimental value. Oh, well it's only fabric right, but it was my most favorite quilt that I've made so far. : ( Now back to the sewing machine to make a duplicate! Tear.....

7.26.2008

Yippeee....

Just another little fun happening here at our house. Jace is officially sleeping through the night. I feed him his last meal at 10:00 PM and then lay him down for the night, and then he doesn't wake up again until 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning to eat again! Conner was the same way, but boy is it nice to have Jace do the same thing! I give mad props to all the gals out there that get up every two hours during the night for like three months straight because I would be a mad zombie!

My Sweet Boys

Jace is starting to smile like crazy now, and it just melts my heart! He's such a sweet little guy, and Jess and I both say that he's going to be a little momma's boy!

May Aunt Karen sent Jace this way cute blanket, and outfit! I love love it! Thanks Karen! We can't wait to make it over to your guy's way sometime soon! : )

How can you not love this cute little face! He's such a great big brother. This was him today when Jace and I went in to get him from after his nap. I asked him if he wanted to get out, and he kept saying no, then he saying Jace and pointing as his pillow. After I figured out what he wanted I just laughed. He's so funny, and so darn cute! He wanted his little brother to hang out with him in his crib for a little while!

Looking at this picture of them next to each other, I can't believe how much Jace has grown! He's filled out so much from when he was born! They still look so much alike to me!

Happy Birthday Aunt Tay : )....

On the 19th, last Saturday we made our way up to Moses Lake for the weekend to spend Aunt Taylor's birthday with her. Conner had tons of fun, and Taylor made out with some way fun presents. We went bowling, and Conner had tons of fun playing on the slip n slide. He's so grown up now! It's fun to just be able to sit back and watch him play.

Taylor is such a good aunt!

I love these next three series of pictures! Jess grabbed Conner and attempted to throw him down the slip n slide on the side of the slide. Conner wasn't to sure about it, but he didn't slide very well either. Poor little guy always getting picked on by his dad!

Bowling was lots of fun too! Conner was way more into it this time then the last time we took him which was like almost a year ago. Personally bowling isn't my most favorite thing to do, but it was lots of fun to go with my family and hang out. I guess why I don't really like it is because I stink at it big time! Even with bumpers I think that Taylor beat me every time.

Conner thought that the ball returner thingy was pretty cool. I was just waiting for him to smash a finger, but surprisingly enough he never did.

Part of the crew.

Conner wasn't a bad little bowler. I guess he gets that from his dad!
Jess is so competitive, and he can bowl pretty good!
Don't mind the crazy face that I'm pulling, but I just wanted to add this picture, because after every time that Conner or someone else went Conner would just clap and go all crazy! He was cracking us up!

Tay is a pretty good bowler herself!

Doing her victory dance!

We bowled two games and this is what Jace did the entire time! He is such a great little guy!

Waiting for his ball!

Yes, it only took him like 5 seconds to get almost all the way to the pins! Little stinker.

I was so embarrassed!

The Thursday before we went to Moses Lake for Tay's birthday the boys and I went over to go swimming with my mom and sisters! I hadn't taken Conner yet this summer, so I was excited to see how he would do! He did great! He loves the water, so it's kind of scary! He would just take off down the slides and some of them were in the deeper end. He wouldn't even wait until there was someone to catch him, so there were plenty of near drowning experiences! I am so sold now on putting him in swimming lessons next year! It makes me way to nervous to not have him learn asap how to swim since he seriously has no fear!

I brought this hat for Jace to sport at the pool, but he never even got to wear it. We had some friends there that were sitting in the shade, so they were so sweet to keep an eye on Jace for me while I played Baywatch rescuing my 18 month old from all of his near death experiences. : ) What a cutie! : )

Jace's Room

Jace is now taking over Conner's old room. I wasn't going to paint the room until after I had Jace since he was going to be in our room for awhile, but I started painting it the day before I had Jace hoping that it would cause me to go into labor. No luck there, but atleast we got all the blue paint done. Then about a week after I had Jace I was bound and determined to get it done. I just hate projects that are half done, so it was driving me crazy that I wasn't finished painting it yet. I taped off all the solid diamonds and painted those green, and then painted the stripes brown, and with having a husband that is a perfectionist I knew that I had to measure out everything just perfect. We love love how it turned out. I just matched the colors from his quilt that I made him, because I'm using those same fabrics through out the room. I am super excited to get everything in there to finish it off! Since Conner is still in his crib, we are going to be borrowing one from Jess' brother and wife, so we owe them big time. I thought about moving Conner into a toddler bed, but I really got nervous thinking about having a brand new little baby, and then battling with an 18 month old to stay in bed. We'll see, soon enough we'll have to make the transition! : ) Once we get everything in the room and put together I'll post another picture of the finished product.

These are just some frames that I put together to hang above his dresser. I just took some of the fabric that is in the quilt and covered the mats with it. I can't wait to get some cute black and white baby pictures in them! I found the frames at Target for 3.50 a piece! I love Target! : )

1 Month Already....

I can't believe that my little baby is already 1 month old! It makes me so sad! I just think about how fast that Conner has grown, and now Jace! It seems like just yesterday he was hardly able to fill out his newborn clothes, and now he barely fits in them any more! It is getting fun to see his personality come out a little bit more! He is so alert, and so sweet! We definently got lucky again with another great baby! Since we brought him home from the hospital he's been only waking up once in the middle of the night, and then he sleeps in until 9 oclock, after eating again at 7:00 AM. He's a great little eater, and he's starting to fill out a lot. His little baby bum cheeks are starting to exist now, because for awhile there he didn't even have any! : ) Jace is also very very strong. Conner was pretty strong too, but Jace just amazes me! Just tonight I had Jace down on the floor for tummy time, and I just happened to glance over and see him roll over! Crazy! I don't know if it was just a freak accident, but still he rolled over! I about died! Pretty much his day consists of eating, being awake for about an hour, and then he goes down for a nap. Then once he wakes up it just starts all over, with of course a lot of diaper changes in between. : ) I'm still in the process of getting this whole 2 kids thing down, but I'll get the hang of it soon enough!

I just could love on this little guy all day!

Finally I Did It....

So, like I mentioned in an earlier post our poor little Conner has never had his hair cut, ever! Well, about a week ago I had finally had it! If he was a girl I would have been able to put his hair in piggy tails. I just loved how curly it got when we would gel it up. I seriously cut like almost two inches off of the top! Crazy, my poor little guy! He did have this way cute little chunk of hair in the back that would always make this way cute curl, and the very first thing that I did was cut it off and put it in his baby book! I love that little curl! : ) He did a lot better then I had thought he would. I just took his high chair outside, buckled him in, and gave him some John Deere fruit snacks to entertain him! He is so stinkin cute! I do love his hair cut shorter now though. It still kind of has that little curl still in it, so now I'm super sad because he's just getting so big and toddler looking! : )

My handsome boy!

7.05.2008

Today the Bishops came back over. The guys went golfing, and Amanda and I chatted while the kids swam. Ashlynn brought her pool over this visit, and her and Conner had tons of fun. Amanda forgot Ash's swim suit, so we had to convince her that it was cool to wear one of Conner's. She looked such like a little surfer girl, so cute! : )

It was lots of fun, but after an afternoon of swimming, the late night last night caught up with them. Conner was grouchy! He has never been so grouchy as he got today! Little stinker.

The little surfer girl! : )

Then here are the babies! Ryder is 5 months old and Jace is three weeks old. We wanted to get a picture of them together because they were kind of wearing the same colors. These guys are going to best buds! : )

Crazy Hair...

So we have never ever cute Conner's hair. Sad but true this poor kid still has his baby hair! I just love it though. It kind of has this curl to it when its wet or has gel in it. We really need to trim it up a little bit, but I know that it's going to be a fight to get him to sit still for 5 minutes. The day is coming soon, because he's getting a good mullet going. :)

My cute boys that I love so much! : )

Happy 4th

We kind of had a quiet 4th of July this year. Both of our families were out of town, so we were able to celebrate the holiday with our way good friends Ryan and Amanda Bishop and their way cute kids! We had a lot of fun! The kids played in the little kiddie pool, we had a way yummy BBQ, and we even made it out with the kiddos to the fireworks! We always have way fun with the Bishops, so we are so glad that they ended up moving so close to us! : ) Of course Jace pretty much slept through his first 4th of July, but next year will be fun with him. I can't believe that he's three weeks old already! He's such a little sweetie! He only wakes up once in the middle of the night still, and he only ever cries when he's hungary. I took some pictures of him early on in the day, and I forgot how easy it is to take a million pictures of a baby because they just lay there! : ) Conner's not into the whole picture taking thing anymore, he's too busy. I tried to get some cute ones of him, but you'll see that I didn't really get that accomplished. All in all we had a great 4th of July! How could you go wrong with lots of yummy food and great friends to hang out with! Happy 4th everyone! : )
I was so excited to catch Jace's way cute smile on camera. He doesn't throw out a smile very often, but he does every once and awhile. I don't really remember Conner smiling so young.

Here he's giving me the stink eye! Conner always would give us funny looks when he was a baby, so it's so funny to see Jace throw some out every once in awhile.

I love how peaceful a sleeping baby looks.

I love this little guy so much! Everyday he just cracks us up! He's really good at saying words, and when we try to teach him new words he trys so hard to repeat them back. He's such a little perfectionist like his Dad! : ) His new words lately are icky, hot dog, stop, and juice. Right now when he talks sometimes, he trys to talk in a sentence, and it's so cute because really he just sounds like he's babbling but you can make out a word or two if you listen close enough. He's loving Jace still, and he always wants to hold him and give him loves! Jace was laying on the floor and was kind of whimpering because he was ready for a nap and that's his way lately of showing me that he's ready to go lay down, anyways Conner ran right over to him and was getting ready to pick him up. Of course I intervened, but I thought it was so cute that he was wanting to console Jace! He's such a great big brother and we are so excited to see them grow up together, and hopefully become great friends! : )

This was one of our attempts at getting a picture!

I guess this was Jess and I's attempt at getting a picture together!

Here we are at the fireworks. This was our first 4th in the Tri-Cities, so we weren't sure how the fireworks were. They ended up not being to bad! They started about 10 oclock, so the little kiddos were so tired. It was way past their bed time, and believe me it made for a very unbehaved, tired Conner the next day! : ) It was lots of fun though. We parked the truck in like the perfect spot, because we were far enough away that they weren't too loud for the kids but we could still see them really good! We all just sat on top of the tool box in the back of the truck, and enjoyed the show! : ) The picture above is Jess and Ryan getting settled with Conner and Ashlynn.

Here's Amanda and I. It was hard to take a super good pic because it was kind of windy, and poor Amanda kept getting my hair in her face. Us mom's don't really get pictures of us often because we're normally the ones taking them, so atleast we tried.

We were just waiting for the fireworks to start. I love Ash in this picture! She's so cute!

Conner was so tired! He made it through the whole thing though, but as soon as we started the drive home he was out! Jace just enjoyed the show from inside the truck with Ryder. This is what he looked like the entire time. He's so stinkin cute! : )

6.25.2008

Huge Thanks! : )

Thank you everyone so much for all the sweet comments you've left! We really appreciate all the support and kindness that everyone has given us. We also owe a huge thanks to both Jess and I's parents! We could have never done it without you guys! They were all so great to help us out greatly with Conner while we were in the hospital. I think that he had too much fun, because he never even missed us! We really are so thankful for all our family and friends, so thanks again for everything.

We also wanted to send out a huge congrats to Jess' sister Kelli and her family. They had their baby boy this morning at 11:00 in Los Angeles. He was 7lb 9oz. and we are so excited for him and Jace to become great friends! : 0 ) We hope that everyone is doing great and we can't wait to meet the little guy! : )

6.24.2008

More Pictures : )

Well, yes we finally did get to go home. I hate staying in the hospital. It is so boring! We got to go home the Sunday after I had Jace. We were going to go home on Saturday, but Jace got a temperature of over 100, so the doctor's wouldn't let him leave yet. We are all home and happy, and getting use to all the changes. Jace is such a good little guy, and he reminds me a lot of Conner when he was a baby! Hopefully it stays that way because Conner was a really easy baby, so we're keeping our fingers crossed. He only wakes up once or twice in the middle of the night, and he's a great little eater. Jace and Conner both had doctor's appointments yesterday, and they are both doing great. Jace came in at 7lb. 14oz. and 21 inches long. It's so crazy how fast they grow. Conner is warming up to him pretty good. He loves to give him loves, and every time that he passes by Jace he always says "Hi" and waves. We're working on the whole gentle part though. Conner doesn't quite understand the whole fragile thing yet. I'm getting used to this whole two kids thing, and I'm loving having another little guy around. I was able to finally get some more pictures up today, so enjoy. There's more of the hospital and when we brought Jace home. There's quite a few, so sorry that it goes on forever! : )
Big Brother Conner visiting Mom and little Brother Jace.

Jace was just checking things out. What a cutie! : )

Conner was still not quite sure about everything. Dad was helping him warm up to the new little guy.

Our poor Conner is only 18 months and he loves pop!

I love this kid! He's so sweet!

When Jace had a temp they had us keep the blankets off of him. I just love how little they are. It freaks Jess out!

Cute little feet!

This was after I got him ready to go home.

Conner wasn't a pacifier baby, but Jace takes it more then he did. Hopefully he doesn't get too attached.

Getting ready to go.

This was after we got home, and Conner was checking things out. He was probably thinking "What, you brought it home"?

Love the brown and blue outfit, thanks Grandma Moberg.

Conner was still checking things out.

I love this baby! He just melts my heart.

Giving Grandma loves before she heads back home.

Conner smileing for the camera. What a goof! It's so crazy, he's such a little talker. It really freaks me out, but I guess he is a big brother now. : )

6.13.2008

Crazy!

Laptops are so nice when you are stuck in a hospital and you are so super bored! : ) I was just sitting here with my Mom still in amazment on how much Jace looks like Conner, so I decided to compare pics! Conner looks a little bit skinnier in the face because he was 9 oz's smaller then Jace, and Conner had jaundice and Jace doesn't so Conner looks darker toned. Other then those differences I am so amazed on the similairities! It will be fun to see if they continue to look so similair as Jace gets more mature.

Conner freshly born. : )

Jace freshly born! : )

Finally!

Finally it let me upload some pics, so here ya go! Of course there will be more to follow! : ) Enjoy!!

Mom and Jace right after birth! : )

Proud PaPa! : )

Of course Grandma Moberg was there to welcome the little guy, too! : )

Jace getting in some Grammy Walters time.

Conner's Twin is Here : )

I am so sad right now. I was going to put up a picture of the new little guy, but it's not letting me so I promise I'll try again soon!

Back to the good news! Jace Jackson Walters finally made his entrance , yes on Friday the 13th, at 12:35 AM. He's 7lbs. 2oz. and 19 inches long. I am seriously still in shock on how well everything went! We came in to be induced at 5 oclock yesterday, and since I was already dialated to a 4 they said that I could get an epidural even before they start the induction! Can you believe that because at first I didn't, so yes I felt absolutely no contractions the entire time. How could life have been any better?! : ) They put me on pitocin and slowly increased it every half hour until I gave the word that we were ready! Once it came to that point the doctor came in and left within 6 minutes. Seriously three pushes and he was out! I couldn't have asked for anything better! Not even one stich either. I still am pinching myself, because it seems way to good to be true. Conner's delivery was pretty easy though once he decided to come down, but my pregnancy was so different with this one that you just never want to plan on anything being the same and getting your hopes up. It cracks Jess and I up how much he seriously looks like Conner! Even the face that he makes when he crys looks just like Conner's! We'll see what Conner thinks about Jace here soon when he comes up for a visit. I'm super excited to see if he'll even react to the situation because I don't really know how much he really understands yet about the whole situation.
Conner was such a good baby for us that we thought for sure we weren't going to be so lucky with this one, but I think that we did get lucky! He hasn't really even made a peep since he was born! All the rest of the night not even a moan or a groan or anything! He's been so much like Conner when Conner was a baby, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that it continues that way! ; )

Well, we just wanted to share the good news with everyone, and hopefully we'll figure out the picture situation soon because he is such a cutie! : )

6.01.2008

Conner's New Room

So, with the arrival coming of the new little one we needed to move Conner across the house into a new room. The room he was in is designated the nursery because it's the smallest out of all four rooms. With this whole nesting thing that I'm on I was determined to get things done quick. Jess and I painted, and got everything settled in for him and his first night in there was last night! I love how it turned out! Jess wasn't to sure about the whole stripe thing, but I love how it just frames the pictures! Now it's just time to paint the baby's room and our room! Jess is so excited, actually not really. I just love done rooms it just makes it feel so cozy! I got some cow hide print fabric to make some curtains out of, so I can't wait to get those done I think that it will just finish it off!

Hopefully the Last Picture of "The Belly"

Well, here it is "The Picture"! I told jess that we needed to take a picture today of my pregnant self, because hopefully we won't get another chance to! : ) I was going to post news after my last appointment, but I have hit my nesting stage and I have hit hard! I didn't really ever have a nesting stage when I was pregnant with Conner, but boy with this one things have gotten out of control, I guess in a good way! I thrown a lot out, and gotten a lot organized, and we still have a big list of things that I want done before the baby gets here which could be any day! Yikes! At my appointment they checked me, and I was for sure that there would still be nothing happening yet, because with Conner I never started to dialate even up to my due date, nothing! Well, when he told me that I was at a 2 and 1/2 I about freaked! I was excited to know that things were happening because I really don't want to be induced again, but it just really put into perspective how fast this whole delivery thing is coming! The time just flew right by me! Jess kind of freaked too! All of a sudden he was getting serious about finding a name, and he started to list off more things that we need to get done! My Mom is way nervous too, because my little brother graduates this weekend and my little sister's have their dance recital, so there is going to be a lot of people up at their house. When I told her the news she said I couldn't have a baby yet, because it doesn't fit into her plans right now. I guess it doesn't really fit into ours either, but boy I think that I would be okay with going into labor tonight. : ) Things would work out, right Mom? : ) My official due date is a week from today, so we'll see I'm pretty much planning on still having to be induced, darn! I have another appointment on Wednesday, so we'll see what the news is then! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I just hope that I at least dialate more because man with Conner it took me 12 hours of induction to get to 2 cm. it was mirserable! We are super excited though to finally get to meet and see this little guy! He is still measuring small, so I guess that's a good and bad thing. When Conner was born at 6lb. 9oz. he just felt so small and fragile. If this baby is smaller it will freak me out! I'll post again after my appointment and keep everyone updated, but it could happen any day now! Holy Cow!

One week to go, or less! : )

This is Jess' picture taking. At first he was trying to get me to stand where he could take a picture and watch TV at the same time because Bourne Identity was on. Once I figured out what he was up to I harped on him. What a goof! : ) Conner wanted in on the picture, too. I had to post one with him in it. He wouldn't smile though he just wanted to stand there.

Crash and Burn....

On Friday we went over to Moses Lake for my little brother's graduation BBQ. It was tons of fun and of course there was tons of yummy food! I was so excited! There is nothing better then a good BBQ with lots of homemade salads, and yummy goodies! The hamburgers were to die for, too of course! : ) Conner just had a ball hanging out with Aunt Tay and watching all the big kids play volleyball. He would live outdoors if we let him. This kid has no fear though. It makes me a little nervous because I don't know what he's going to do next. My parents have this big play toy with a big slide and swings in the backyard, and Conner just climbs right up that thing all by himself and goes down the slide. He just does this over and over again! I do love that he loves to play and isn't a whimp about things, but then he falls or something and I get nervous. Well, he was walking down the stairs of my parents patio, because he has to walk down them like a grown up not turn around and going down them on his belly or bum like a little kid, and well he fell head first onto the cement. Jess was standing right there and I saw the whole thing and I just thought that he would just jump right up and take off because it really didn't look like that bad of a fall. After he fell though he picked up his head and scraped his face on the cement as he was trying to get up! Poor guy! It scraped him from the top of his forehead all the way down to the tip of his nose! He cried for a second, but I think that it really looks worse then it really was. I just hope that it hurrys and gets healed because I wanted to do pictures once this baby gets here!
We have also hit a milestone today! Our little guy officially goes to nursery! I can't believe it. He really doesn't turn 18 months until the 20th of this month, but with the baby coming next week, or sooner, I am desperate to get him in there. I could not juggle two kids during sunday school or relief society. I went in there with him today and I was just going to sit there and see how he handled things. I knew that he would do okay, because he loves playing with other kids and who wouldn't love a ton of new toys to play with and a yummy snack! : ) Well, he was a champ! He did so good! He didn't even pay me any attention. He loved being with all the other kids, and the leaders are awesome! I am super excited for him because I know that he'll have tons of fun! I asked the leaders if it would be okay to let him come in early, and they said oh yeah he's doing great, so there's no reason why not. Plus, he's close enough to being 18 months, right! : ) On the drive home from church I was telling Jess all about it, and how proud I was of him like when some bully kid would come up to him and take his toy, he would just turn around and grab another one. I just have to add that I didn't realize that kids could be so rude at such a young age! There was this one kid that was just going around pushing kids off of their chairs just because! What a bully! I told Jess that I'm interested to see who his parents are at church next Sunday! : ) As I was telling Jess about how big our little guy is getting I got all emotional. Jess just laughed at me. I am super excited though because it was getting so hard to entertain him during Relief Society and I would look around and see all the little babies in there, and realize that mine is not such a little baby any more. He just felt to old to be lugging into class with me. Plus, I wouldn't be able to sit through a whole lesson because of Conner, so I'm looking forward to that now! I guess I'll just be starting all over with having this new baby, but atleast he'll sit still for awhile! : ) I still can't believe it first day at nursery, first nursery handout, I know it's just the beginning and before long he'll be having his first day of school! Oh my word, I want him to stay little forever! : )
Conner has also learned how to drive his first truck! Well, it's a Ford F-150 power wheels truck, but it's still powered. It goes way fast! He plays with our neighbor's son that's two, and it's his truck. For awhile there Conner would just climb up into it and sit there because he didn't know how to push the pedal to go. I was very content with that, but then all of a sudden he took off. He's still having a little stirring trouble, but after plenty of crashes I'm sure he'll figure that out too! We have come to see though that he's getting his dad's driving skills, because he does like to run into things! He ran into our neighbor's car the other day and just started laugh, little stinker! Pure craziness! He just keeps getting more and more mobile!

Ouch! : )

Baby News

Okay so nothing new yet! I had an appointment on Tuesday, and everything is going perfect, a little too perfect! I want something to happen so that I feel like I'm not going to be pregnant forever! The baby is a tiny little guy, and the doctor said that he thinks he's barely going to be 6 pounds. Poor thing! Conner was 6lb. 9oz. so he was pretty small too. The baby's also measuring at 35 weeks, and I'm 37 and a half weeks along, so yes he is a little small. I guess coming from Jess and I we're never really going to have giants, right. : ) Anyways, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something will happen soon, because I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore! I am super uncomfortable which is weird because I was never uncomfortable with Conner and I gained 30 more pounds with him. I think that my uncomfortable issue is probably caused by me chasing and carrying around an almost 1 and a half year old all day. I was hoping that chasing Conner around would put me into labor sometime, but considering how everything went when Conner was born nothing can put me into labor but the doctor! Darn! My next appointment is on Tuesday so we'll see what happens then. Wish me luck! I've reached my nesting stage finally, and so now I'm way to motivated to get stuff done! I am constantly throwing out clutter, and Jess has to go through the garbage to make sure that I didn't throw any good stuff out. We've almost gotten Conner's new room ready to move him in, we're just in the middle of painting it, so that's another thing crossed off my list almost. I just can't believe that we're getting so close to having another baby here in our house. Yikes! I can't wait to see and meet the little guy though. We're still not sure of his name yet, so he's still just baby. I'll post again after my next appointment and hopefully we'll have some good promising news! : )

Getting Closer : )

I am so excited! The backyard is so close to being done! Last weekend Jess and our lovely neighbors put in our sprinkler system in 100 degree temperature! Poor guys! I loaded up on gatorade and kept them all well hydrated, as I watched from inside an air conditioned house! : ) It took them pretty much all day. We're just glad that it's almost done. Now we're just waiting for our sod to be delivered! It was suppose to come anytime this week, but Friday is tomorrow and it hasn't showed up yet. We're a little nervous because we're going to Moses Lake on Saturday so that we can go to the Carrie Underwood concert in Spokane with my family, and we're worried that it's going to be delivered while we're gone. We'll see, I just can't wait until it's all done! Conner is so going to love it! : )

Here's the little cutie himself showing me my favorite face that he makes. Lately though when you ask him to smile he smiles! I love how much he's learning! He's so smart that Jess and I just get blown away by him constantly by all the new stuff that he does every day! He's saying so many new words, and learning so much! I can't believe that we're going to have two!
He loves his belly button! When you ask him where is belly button is he does this. I love it. Then he goes around and wants to see everyone else's belly button! What a goof! : )

Our New Addition : ).....

No, no baby yet, darn! We are absolutely crazy though! We got a new puppy! He's a 7 week old beagle. I keep telling my husband that it's his puppy, because he's the one that made the final decision. Kind of bad timing to get a new little puppy, since we are having a baby in like less then two weeks, hopefully. Yikes! He's a pretty good little guy so far, and I think that Cabo loves having a companion to chase around. Conner loves chasing the puppy around all day saying "No No" because that's pretty much what I say to it all day. He loves to chew on everything, and then of course there's the whole potty training thing. It helps that I'm home all day I guess, but how did Jess get off so easy? : ) I just can't wait until we finally get our sod so that the dogs can just be outside in the backyard all day! He still has no name yet. We are having a hard enough time with a baby name, we can't think about a dog name right now. It's sad though because he is answering to "Puppy". Our neighbor is who told us about the puppy, and they got one, too. It's pretty funny to watch the puppy and his brother play around together. We'll see how it goes. I told Jess it's not permanent until after the baby comes and we see how that whole adjustment goes. Two kids, two dogs........holy cow what are we thinking?

Baby Name Dilemma

Okay, so I have a very indecisive husband and our baby that is making his grand entrance in about 3 weeks still doesn't really have a name for sure yet! We were really liking Jace Jackson, but then Jess came home from work one day and just said that he didn't like it anymore! I went through the name book a million and one times and wrote down every possible name that I liked and Jess still was not giving me any slack! He was just waiting to be walking around somewhere and hear someone say the perfect name. That's how we found Conner, we heard a mom yelling at her son at the airport and his name was Conner. I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not, but so far not to bad. Finally the other day I came across the name Trevor on a piece of paper somewhere, and I couldn't really think of anyone that I knew with the name Trevor so I thought that I would run it past Jess just to see his reaction. Well, he didn't immediately say no, so that made me feel okay about it. For the last couple of days we've been thinking about it, and saying it aloud and stuff, and I think that we're really liking the name Trevor. If we do end up going with Trevor for sure it will be Trevor Williams Walters. Williams is after Jess' Mom's maiden name, and it's also Jess' middle name. So, for now we are calling the baby Trevor, but I've learned that with my husband nothing is permanent until the name is on the birth certificate. We're pretty sure that it's going to be Trevor though, so I'm super excited that we've some what figured that big issue out! : ) I can't believe how fast things have gone! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to see how things are progressing so we'll see how it goes! I'm hoping that since I chase around a one and a half year all day, that will make things progress faster. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! : ) We'll keep everyone updated on the progress! Wish us luck! : )

Jess' Birthday

It was Jess' birthday on Cinco de Mayo, but my parents came over on the Friday before, and we celebrated a little bit then. It was fun, we went out to dinner to Jess' pick Red Lobster, and then we gave him our present. My parents went in on it with me and we got him an ipod touch. He's been talking about an ipod for like years. He goes running and he keeps saying that he needs something to listen to while he's running. I thought about just getting a nano, but my sister has an ipod touch, and so I was able to see how cool they are. I was so excited to give it to him! It's not all the time that he gets a fun toy to play around with, and enjoy just himself so I think that he was pretty excited about it once he opened his gift. Since then he's been on itunes every night, and he invested in some really nice head phones. I say invested because it was an investment, they were expensive. : ) I can't believe that he's 25. Now he keeps reminding me that he can now rent a car! If only we would go somewhere fun so that he can rent a car! :)

Oh My Word!

It's been forever, as usual, since I have posted anything. Lots has been going on, and it's still not over yet! I'm starting to feel kind of stressed out, but I know that it will all get done sometime.

To start off my updating is some fun pictures of the baby quilt that I just finished. I love love love it, and the fabric. I ordered all the fabric from fatquartershop.com and of course it's from Moda my favorite! : ) It's more a toddler quilt because I am making everything for the baby's room from this fabric, so I wanted it to last longer. I did my own pattern, and I machine quilted it too! I am totally obsessed with the diagonal striped fabric in it, because it reminds me of a tie. It's so hard to find some cute fabric to make a quilt for a little boy, so when I found this I just got so excited!

Then here's my next project in the works. I got so excited when I found this flannel too! It's another cute little boy fabric. It's got planes, trains, and cars all over it, and to add to it all I love the colors, too! I grabbed this fabric, and decided to make a smaller baby quilt with it! I love the pinwheels! I am super excited to finish it. I'm using a pattern for this one from Thimble Blossoms! I love her patterns! I just can't wait to have a little girl because she has so many cute flowery patterns! : ) I'll post pics of the finished product soon hopefully! : )

Then this picture shows Jess' project in the works. Yes, this is our backyard in progress. I am so excited and I think Conner is extra excited! That kid would live outside if we let him. I hate taking him out in the frontyard because now he loves to run straight for the street. We live on a cauldasac, so there's not a ton of traffic, but it still makes me nervous. I will love it when the fence is finished, and our sod is down and I can just send Conner out in the back with the dog and just watch from the window while I'm cooking dinner! : ) The rock looking cement blocks we got from of course a cement place, and Jess and his Dad brought in all the huge equipment from the yard and got them placed. I love that we decided to do this, because we had a slope back there, and now that it's gone it gives us just that much more room to use and play on! Now we need to put up the fence. We have everything for it, so it's just a matter of getting it done. Then Jess just finished digging the trenches for the sprinklers today, and that stuff is on order and then once that's done our sod will get delivered and it's just pure enjoyment after all that! I can't wait! : ) I'll post finished product pics of that too!

Conner loves to help Jess with anything that he's doing! All morning while Jess was riding around in the Bobcat all Conner wanted to do was watch from the window. He kept saying trac, which means tractor. He's so cute. All day he'll take Jess' tools and act like he's doing something with them. What a cutie. I can't believe that we're going to have another little boy around here in less then a month! Yikes! : )

This splendid machine is my new love, for cleaning of course! : ) With kids and a dog it's so nice to be able to clean your carpets when ever your heart desires! I just need to control my obsession so I don't over clean my carpets, but I just love the feel and look of super clean carpets.

Our little guy is just getting more and more opinionated! Now he just wants to feed himself all the time. There were certain foods that I would let him feed himself because it was easy for him to, but now he insists on only eatting when he is feeding himself. It cracks me up because now he's having more baths then ever, but I'll give it to him he's pretty good! He picked up on using utensils right from the get go. I just can't believe how fast he's growing up, and I keep saying that because I really can't believe it! These pics are from snack time today. What a goof! : )

Lastly here's our dog Cabo. Jess and I got his almost three years ago when he was a puppy, and Conner just loves to pick on him and chase him around. It's pretty darn cute. Well, he was also another thing that made us so busy lately. He was having problems going to the restroom, and we came to the conclusion after calling the vet that he probably had bladder stones. No fun! You could just tell he was miserable. We love our dog, but we weren't really wanting to spend a bunch of money on surgery and everything so we tried to wait it out. That really didn't work, and it actually just made things worse. Poor guy! Finally I took him to the vet, and they did x-rays, and tests and they decided that he was going to need surgery for sure to make him better. We went through with the surgery, and they found 12 stones in his bladder and there were some clogging him too which was of course the cause of him having bathroom problems. Anyways, we're just glad that it's over, and hopefully the problem is completely fixed now.

Almost Back to Normal!

So today was a great day compared to the weekend. Conner is pretty much back to his fun cute self, again! I love love it! He cracks me up all day and when he's not feeling good I really start to miss my little comedian! : ) This first picture is of what he wanted to wear all day today! I love the motorcyle boots, but when the day started to get later and he was still in this outfit I had to force him to change because we were not going to the store like that! : ) He's loves having shoes on because I think that he wants to be ready for when a door opens, so that he can just squeeze through and make a run for it! If he doesn't have shoes on he'll bring me shoes until I finally break down and put them on. He even sleeps in them sometimes!

Conner showing us his teeth again. It just never gets old for me! I love it! : )

Poor Sick Boy, Again!!

I give up! I don't know what I am doing wrong, but our poor little guy is sick again! Last week he woke up in the middle of night with 102 temp, and had a fever almost all night it was so sad. He also has this really nasty cough! I was going to take him to the doctor on Friday, but he woke up and was acting normal so I decided not too. I kicked myself later though because Friday night he woke up in the middle of the night again with 101 temp! I was a very tired Mom! : ) Saturday Jess' parents came over and Tom helped Jess put up our retaining wall in the back, and I'll have to post some pictures tomorrow because it looks awesome! It really makes our backyard look so much bigger! Anyways, Grammy Walters hung out with us inside and boy was Conner super boring! I was even bored because all he wanted to do was sit in front of the sliding glass door and watch the big machines push dirt around! Jess' Mom put it well when she said it was like watching grass grow! He was super needy and would not let me get anything done! He did end up taking a long nap after some playing in the dirt, so that was nice.

When I was home all day Friday with a sick super needy child I decided to get Conner's tent out for the first time. We got him this tunnel set from Costco for Christmas and it came with a couple of fun tents. I had never gotten them out yet because I just thought that it would be a mess trying to put together, but on Friday I was desperate! Turned out not as hard as I thought, and Conner is so obsessed with it! It is hilarious! He'll run into his room and try to climb into his crib to get his pillow and blanket so that he can put them in his tent. Then he has to have one of us in it with him all the time! He'll run over and grab your finger and pull you in! What a goof! He's just getting so big! He's starting to say words like crazy! He says no, yes, yeah, door, dog, ball, shoes, eye, hi, drink, of course Mommy, and Daddy, truck, and right now we're working on bye bye. We did have an incident today where I said "Oh Crap" and Conner turned around and said "Crap". Jess and I just looked at each other and cracked up, but it's starting already we're going to have to be careful what we say! Yikes! : ) It makes me sad how fast he's growing, but I know that in 6 weeks we're having another baby, so we'll get to start all over again with another cutie while Conner keeps learning his new fun things everyday.

Conner in his "Fort"! : )

Poor sick little guy! He never just sits still, so when he was just cuddled up on the couch I knew that he wasn't feeling good!

Spring Break Oregon Trip

A week ago my parents rented a house for the weekend in Lincoln City, OR since the kids were on Spring Break. They invited us along for the ride, and we were so excited! We all went last summer and had a ball, so that made it even more exciting to look forward to! The house they got was really nice, but it was too bad that we only got to stay for the weekend. I think that it just ended up going by way to fast for all of us. We all rode down together, and I was kind of nervous about taking Conner on a 6 hour car ride because he's so busy but he was a sport. Conner loved it, especially the beach. I didn't take my camera with me to the beach because I knew that I would be chasing Conner all over the place, so I need to get all the cute pictures that my Mom got and post them. She got some way good ones! We were able to hit up the way good factory outlet mall there, and we even got a visit from my Aunt and Uncle and cousins. They were able to join us for a night. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Moberg, it was an awesome weekend! : 0 )

My Aunt took us to this way cute, fun 50's diner in Newport, OR for lunch. It was tons of fun, and the food was delicious! The guys were out boogie boarding all day, so we took a little road trip without them. Conner is growing up so fast! He makes us laugh all the time! When we ask Conner to show us his teeth the picture to the left is what he does! It is my favorite thing that he does right now! I love it! : )

Our boy is obsessed with being outside! He would play out there for hours if we let him. Jess went and picked up this ball for him while we were there and he loved it so much that when we left after the weekend it was flat! : )

Pictures to come of the beautiful beach! : )

Worst Mother Moment Yet : (

This week our good friends Ryan and Amanda Bishop came to Tri-Cities for a job interview, and we were lucky enough to be able to meet up with them. It's been like forever since we've seen each other, and we always have lots of fun together! It would be super awesome if they ended up taking the job here, because then we could really get some good hang out time and kids play time in. Well, they came over on Thursday when Jess was getting off of work, and we showed the house and then we were going to go grab some Inca's for dinner! Now the sad part of the story, as I was showing Amanda around our house we went into the master bedroom, and Conner was following us around. I just picked him up and put him on our bed. He always gets up on our bed, and he's known how to get down off of things for awhile, so I didn't think anything of it. I always put him up on the couch and bed and stuff and when he wants down he just turns around and drops down feet first. Well as Amanda and I were talking Conner was walking around on top of the bed, and some how he like slipped or kind of bounced off, and he hit the floor head first extremely hard! I can still hear the sound of the thud in my head, and it just makes me sick to my stomach! I just walked over to him and picked him up and of course he was doing that silent cry thing because he fell so hard, but this kid falls all the time and just hops right back up and keeps on going. When I picked him up and he was doing that whole little silent cry thing I knew that he was hurt, poor guy! Well Ryan and Jess came into the room because they heard the thud out in the kitchen and by then Conner was full on crying. As they came in the room Conner started to act really funny and was arching his back and kind of stopped crying, so I laid him down on the bed. His eyes kind of rolled up, and he kept arching his back and was kind of unresponsive for a little bit. I grabbed his face and was looking in his eyes and saying "Conner" but of course he didn't react. My first instint was "We need to call 911" I was worried that he had a neck injury or something, but it was just super scary to see him like that! Thank goodness everyone else around me was calm, because they just reassured us that everything was going to be okay. Ryan is graduating in Physical Therapy and so he's pretty good at staying calm I guess in these kinds of mother freak out situations. I was so glad that Ryan and Amanda were there because they said that the same thing happened to their daughter once, and after a while she calmed down and she was okay. It was good to hear that I just wasn't a bad mother that lets her little guy fall on his head! He was only unresponsive for just a little bit, but man it felt like forever to me! After a couple of seconds he started to cry again, and he just snuggled up to me for awhile. He then did get super pale though and I was just waiting for him to throw up all over me! We think that either he just got really really dazed from hitting his head so hard, or that he actually did get a concussion. He's fine now thank goodness and that night after dinner he was running around and playing with the big guys, but man I hope we never have to experience that again! I know that those kind of situations are just beginning, but I just was haunted by that experience forever! It still makes me so sad to picture Conner like that! : ( Here's some pictures of Conner helping me make cookies earlier that day! He's so funny! He just loves to sit up on the counter and watch me cook! He'll even help with pouring things in and using the hand mixer! Of course his favorite part is when he gets a beater to lick off! : ) What a cutie!

Happy Easter : )

Finally, I am getting these Easter pics up! Well, we of course went over to Moses Lake for the Easter holiday. It was lots of fun! Last year was Conner's first Easter, but he was only 4 months old, so these year he for sure got more into it! I was so fun watching him get all into finding the eggs and eatting the candy, and playing with his toys! We had early church, 8:30 YIKES, so the Easter bunny came while we were at church. It was a lot of fun spending it with my family, and then later on in the day we went back over to Grammy and Gramps Walters' house for some more fun! Grammy Walters got Conner some way cute little Mickey Mouse Crocs! I absolutely love them! We were out in the yard all day today doing yard work, and they were the best shoes for him to just play in the dirt with and walk around in! : ) Thanks Grammy Walters! Grandma and Grandpa Moberg got him a really fun puzzle, a cute baseball bat and ball, and the cutest Easter basket ever filled with all sorts of goodies and fun stuff! He was definently spoiled rotten! : )

Jess and I got him the little lawn mower that when you push it it blows out bubbles. He'll love it this summer when Jess is out mowing the lawn and Conner just always has to be doing what his Daddy is doing! We also got him the cute camp chair that he loves to sit in, and the huge ball! We were at Target the other day, and he about went crazy when he saw all the huge balls so I just had to get him one. It was a lot of fun being able to get some fun stuff for him, and seeing him get really excited about it! : )
Jess bringing Conner out to check out his fun stuff!

Checking out that fun lawn mower! It was so funny because he just went right over to it and started pushing it around like he knew what he was doing! What a goof! : )

He threw that ball around forever. He would grab it, throw it and then chase after it, and then pick it up and do it again. Lets just say that he slept very good that night.

He kept thinking that the Easter eggs were balls, so he would see one and say "Ball, ball" and then grab it and throw it like it was suppose to bounce back at him. What a stinker!

Watching Grandpa enjoy some hard boiled Easter eggs!

Watch a cutie!

I guess he was hoping for a riding lawn mower because he kept trying to sit on it! : )

Conner's first hard boiled egg! He didn't really like it all that much! : )

Checking out his Easter basket with Grandpa. Grandpa made sure that Conner got to try all sorts of good Easter candy. After too long I finally had to put my foot down. : )

He loved those little marshmellow things!

Hanging out with Aunt Tay. I think he was checking out her basket, too!

Mowing the carpet.

Day At the Park with Daddy and Grammy

The weekend before Easter weekend I was able to go with my Mom and her friend Lisa to Spokane for Time Out for Women! Thanks to my loving husband I was able to enjoy this weekend one year old free! I knew that they would have lots of fun hanging out together! Time Out For Women was absolutely great and very inspiring and thanks again Mom for the tickets! The speakers were great and of course it's always fun to get away with the girls for a little bit!

Of course Conner and Jess had a great time and it always seems that when Jess is watching Conner, Conner is always well behaved and takes really good naps and everything. Now Jess is never going to believe me when I tell him about all the ugly tantrums that Conner pulls all the time during the day, or how he refuses sometimes to take a nap, little stinker! : ) I was glad though that they got some good male bonding time in, of course with the help of Grammy Walters! : )
Conner is a huge outdoor lover, and if he had it his way he would be outside all day long rain or shine! Jess being the great Dad that he is took Conner out to the park for some fun! I was so sad that I missed out on seeing Conner have so much fun, but Jess took some fun pictures! Thanks hun! : )

Conner getting into the swing all by himself.
Almost there...
Made it! : )

Doing what he does best, climb!

Going down the slide.

Daddy's Boy

Okay, my little man is such the Daddy's boy! I just love it! I think that it's so adorable how excited Conner gets when Jess gets home from work, or how sad Conner gets when Jess leaves for work in the mornings. Conner just wants so much to be just like his dad! If Jess is wearing a hat then Conner wants to be wearing his hat. It just cracks me up! Really it's probably that by the end of the day Conner is so sick of me that when Jess comes home he's just glad to have someone else to play with! : ) Right now Jess is putting up some beader board around our kitchen and dining room, and it's so funny because Conner just marches over there and just watches him and grabs tools and wants to help. It's crazy too how every day that goes by Conner looks more and more like Jess. They even have some of the same habits and personality traits! Jess is a perfectionist in everything that he does. I really like this about him because whenever he does a project or something he never settles for less then perfection in the end, and when he's playing a game or trying to do something he can't stop until he's accomplished a victory or perfection! : ) Well yes Conner is the exact same! He accomplished going up and down the stairs by the young age of 11 months! He's so stubborn because he doesn't want to go down the stairs on his bum or his tummy, but he wants to go down and up them like we do by walking upright! Yes in the early stages of his attempts he had us all nervous but now he's a master! ; ) He would spend forever just over at the stairs by himself going up and down them at his G-ma and G-pa Walters' house. He had us all cracking up! He's like this in a lot of things like climbing up onto a chair, or like how a month or so ago he finally managed to jump out of his crib. Who knows how long he's been trying to do that! I love seeing him accomplish these things though because yes just like his dad he gets the cutest face of victory! ; )

Walking around in Dad's shoes after spending about 20 minutes trying to put them on and getting upright so that he could walk in them!

I had just asked him where Daddy's shoes were!

Okay so Jess got me a new camera for Christmas, and I was bound and determined today to learn how to really use some of the fun things on it. I have absolutely no idea what to do with it! I have read the manual, and I always refer back to it, but I still can't really get the right pictures that I want. I guess that's what I get for never taking a photography class! : ) My sister took some classes so maybe I'll have to bug her next time she's up here to help me out. It's kind of frustrating though that I have this idea of what I want in my head, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I almost feel like I am letting my camera down! : ) I think that I really just need to get a really good photo shop program, and maybe I can just make the pictures look like what I have in my head! : ) I always am so jealous of people that have such a good talent of photography! I guess I'll just have to someday take a class or two. : ) Here are some of the results from our photo shoot trial day! : )
